Lighting Up Young Hearts, One Story at a Time

Welcome to Lumarys—a place where stories do more than just entertain. They teach. They heal. They guide.

We believe that every child carries a light inside them. Sometimes, that light just needs a little story to help it shine brighter. Our mission is to create books that nurture kindness, build courage, and celebrate the beautiful diversity of our world.

The Story Behind Let Your Light So Shine

Every book begins with a question. For us, that question was:

"How do we teach children to be kind in a world that can sometimes feel unkind?"

The answer came in the form of a train ride.

Let Your Light So Shine was born from a desire to give children simple, relatable stories about real-life situations. We wanted to create characters that looked like them, faced challenges like theirs, and made choices that would inspire them.

From Esther baking cookies to help a friend in need, to Jonah showing courage on the football field, to Moses learning gratitude after losing everything—these stories are little lanterns for little hearts.

Meet the Creator

Toluwalola Kasali is a writer with a passion for shaping young minds. Inspired by the need for positive, value-driven children's literature, Toluwalola created this book to help parents and educators start important conversations about compassion, acceptance, and love.

"I wanted to write the kind of book that I wish I had as a child—one that tells you it's okay to be different, it's good to be kind, and your light matters."

Beautifully illustrated by Kateryna Hubaidulina, the pages of this book are filled with warmth, color, and characters that will stay with your child long after the story ends.
